Monday PM Class Dog Obedience Training Center

For dogs 14 weeks and older, who have all their required puppy shots, this is the foundation class for all obedience and an investment in having a well-behaved pet for the rest of its life. It covers walking on leash without pulling, coming to you when called, staying when told in a sit, or down, learn not to bark at other people, allow a stranger to touch and pet without jumping up on them and learn to pay attention in a class situation.

You come with your dog each week and learn to train your own dog. Classes last 60 minutes each. You will have homework/practice to do during the week.Once you start a class, there are no refunds.Classes fill quickly and on a first come, first served basis.

For your dog, bring whatever leash you have and any collar you may own those fits. No choke collars, no chain leashes nor retractable leashes. We do carry collars suitable for any dog. Bring lots of pea-sized soft treats. Chicken, hot dogs, cheese, cheerios or soft dog treats cut into small pieces work well. Try to arrive 15 minutes early for your first class. Do not feed your dog at least three hours before class.  Restrooms are available.
